I bought a new scanner. partly with the intent of scanning all of the family photos and letters (of which RTC was prolific writer). So this posted picture is the start of many more to come.
Thank you so much for this picture...I have never seen it before. Is that Momma's Dad? I know this is a "girl" question, but what ever happened to Momma's wedding dress? It is beautiful.
Mom's (JGC) dad had passed around in 1937 (?). I believe her escort is "Tub" -- her oldest brother.
(Later Mom and Tub had a falling out and we never had any contact with Tub. He lived in Escondido I believe and later on a boat in Oceanside. Tub had two sons -- KBC and my cousins -- never met.
Gail (Anderson -- RHC and KBC's cousin, daughter of Midge and Don, half-sister of Judy) said she met him once when he was advanced in years.)
Wedding dress -- good question -- I never saw it -- I am guessing it was borrowed.
I have more pics of the wedding. I will post later.
(As you can see -- I am trying to ID people a bit so in years hence, its easier to follow who is who.)
